- While familiarity with Mazak machinery and Mazatrol programming is a plus, candidates ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment are encouraged to apply.
- Key responsibilities include performing inspections, maintaining high standards with tight tolerances, and ensuring a clean work area.
- The position offers an hourly wage of $16.50 to $18.50, depending on experience, with flexible start times and a 40-hour workweek.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking an Apprentice-Trained or Time-Served CNC Machinist who is experienced in operating, setting, and running CNC Mills (3, 4, and 5 Axis). While experience with Mazak machinery and Mazatrol programming is beneficial, it's not essential- we welcome machinists ready to excel in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in tool setting and understanding tooling requirements.
- Ability to adjust machine offset coordinates to ensure precise manufacturing.
- Experience working with High Tensile and Ultra High Tensile materials.
- Competence in reading and interpreting Engineering Drawings and Route Cards.
- Skilled in using precision measuring equipment, including:
-Micrometers (metric & imperial)
-Bore clocks
-Air gauges
-Height gauges
-Plug gauges, screw plug gauges, and comparators
Responsibilities:
- Performing 1st off inspections and accurately completing associated paperwork.
- Consistently maintaining high standards when working with tight tolerances on various materials.
- Ensuring the work area is clean and organized.
- Collaborating with the team to implement company policies and procedures effectively.
- Delivering exceptional quality on both small and large production batches.
