Our client is a $5bn American owned, global business who are market leader in their sector. Their products and services are widely recognised in the UK and all of their international markets.
Based at their established site in Leeds, the UK finance team are looking to increase their headcount by employing an additional Accountant. They will consider ACCA or CIMA qualified candidates or candidates in the latter stages of achieving those qualifications.
On a day to day basis, you will take responsibility for a specific business unit, working to tight deadlines on all aspects of reporting for weekly Cash-flow, monthly Balance Sheet / Inter-company reconciliations, and regular VAT returns in different European jurisdictions.
Experience working as an in-house accountant is essential for this role. You will also need to be comfortable presenting and translating financial data to all levels of management, as well as liaison with other key stakeholders on management results and the commercial impact of divisional performance.
Cultural fit is extremely important to our client. You need to be able to demonstrate how you work as part of a team, helping and assisting colleagues as required rather than being someone who works in a more silo type of environment.
Note: Hybrid working is in place three out of four weeks (two days home / three days office) with a full week in the office for month end purposes.
