Location: Home-Based / Leeds OfficeJob Type: PermanentWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented accountant to join our client's dynamic team. This role involves providing efficient and effective financial services, including management of P&L reports, sales and purchase invoices, report production, and reconciliations. The successful candidate will be part of a professional and enthusiastic property management team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Completion and maintenance of Regional/National P&L accounts and forecasts.
  • Management and issuance of sales invoices.
  • Production and reconciliation of quarterly FM/System Fees, including Ad Hoc fees.
  • Monthly salary and expense recharges reconciliation.
  • Updating and maintaining fee charge schedules.
  • Day-to-day management of an Assistant Accountant.
  • Debtor data analysis and weekly report production.
  • Monthly financial KPIs production.
  • Overseeing coding and processing of supplier invoices.
  • Assisting in the production of instruction/client profitability reports.
  • Supporting accurate budget production.
  • Assisting in year-end financial audits.
  • Producing Ad Hoc reports as required.
  • Maintaining professional standards and attention to detail in all tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • IT literate with strong Excel skills (including pivot/lookup tables).
  • AAT/CIMA qualified (or working towards) preferred but not essential.
  • Strong accounting, analytical, and numerical skills.
  • Excellent team player with good communication skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and interpret financial data accurately.
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach with flexibility to adapt to various tasks.

Professional Experience:

  • At least 4-5 years of experience in a management accounts or similar accounting role.
  • Basic understanding of property financial aspects is preferred but not essential.

Working Hours:

  • Normal working hours are 9:00-17:30, Monday to Friday.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours during busy periods.
