Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working with a fantastic business in the Leeds area who are looking for a full time Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Management Accountant during the month end process
  • Responsibility for producing the accounts
  • Manage the financial processes that support contracts for our customers
  • Play a key role in the transition to a new accounting system and the introduction of new and improved processes
  • Reconciliation of control accounts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • To support the accounts team and cover in busy times and period of absence
  • VAT Returns
  • Statutory Accounts

Person Specification:

  • Understanding of the core financial processes of sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control
  • Previous experience of working within a SME
  • Team player
  • The ability to work to monthly deadlines
