Assistant Management Accountant | MarTech Scale-Up | Leeds (Hybrid)

We're thrilled to be partnering with a fast-growing MarTech (Marketing Technology) scale-up based in Leeds, as they search for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team.

This innovative business is revolutionising the marketing industry with cutting-edge technology, helping brands harness data-driven insights to optimise campaigns and maximise ROI. Having secured major investment from top-tier VCs, they are scaling rapidly and building a high-performing team to support their growth.

With an ambitious and collaborative culture, the company is looking for a finance professional who is eager to learn, take ownership, and develop within a dynamic, high-growth environment.

The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across financial reporting, management accounts, and process improvements. You'll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy while supporting strategic decision-making with insightful analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Support month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain and improve financial controls and processes.
  • Provide financial analysis to support data-driven business decisions.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Work closely with the Finance Manager on financial reporting and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and improve finance processes.
  • Support external audits and tax compliance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Part-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and actively studying.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment (MarTech, SaaS, or tech scale-up experience is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of financial controls and reporting.
  • Analytical mindset with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
