Elevation are currently working in partnership with our clients fast paced finance team, to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant in Leeds, LS15.

The Role:As an Assistant Management Accountant, you’ll support the Finance Manager in reporting/ analysing performance, preparing P&Ls, accruals/prepayments and helping with budgets and forecasts. This is a fantastic opportunity for a switched on recent graduate that has gained initial finance experience to develop your accounting skills and progress in a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare P&Ls, analyse costs, and investigate variances
  • Assist with budgets and forecasts
  • Improve finance processes and controls
  • Business partnering with stakeholders
  • Communicate financial information clearly to non-financial teams

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Start of CIMA or ACCA studies, wanting to continue
  • Experience in management accounts (prepayments, accruals)
  • Recent Accounting graduate (or similar) 
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience in a busy finance team
