Job Purpose- Managing a varied client portfolio, working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure deadlines and budgets are being met
- Preparation and submision of statutory accounts
- Preparation of tax computations for Limited companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships
- Preparation of management accounts
- Filing and submitting prepared company accounts to Companies House
- Liaising with HMRC on clients’ behalf, handling queries quickly and effectively
- Overseeing junior staff, including workflow management, review work, and training
- Building trusted client relationships as their main point of contact, proactively handling queries
- Monitoring and interpreting changes in legislation and industry trends

- ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified or AAT Level 4 studying
- Recent practice experience managing a client portfolio
- Good understanding of accounts preparation processes
- Audit experience desirable, but not essential
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Xero and Sage
- A hands-on, can-do attitude towards managing own workload
- Self-motivated and reliable who is eager to progress
- A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
- Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
- Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
- Commercial business acumen
