Role responsibilities
- Leading audit assignments for a portfolio of clients, including planning, fieldwork and completion
- Supervising on-site teams and reviewing the work of junior staff
- Preparing statutory financial statements in accordance with UK accounting standards
- Identifying and communicating audit findings and recommendations to clients
- Building trusted relationships with clients and acting as their key point of contact during engagements
- Managing budgets, timelines and reporting requirements across assignments
- Supporting the training and development of junior team members
- Keeping up to date with developments in audit regulations and technical standards

Candidate requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or finalist with significant experience in audit
- Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards
- Experience managing audits from planning through to finalisation
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Ability to supervise and support the development of junior staff
- Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple assignments
- £38,000 to £48,000 pa
