Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a growing Group of businesses on the outskirts of Yeadon.

Working closely with the Finance Director and senior management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Finance team.

What will you be doing?

  • Overseeing the delivery of the monthly management reporting and variance analysis to the Board
  • Assisting with the preparation of business forecasts
  • Reviewing of the key control accounts
  • Responsible for overseeing transactional finance
  • Liaising with the auditors and third-party advisors
  • Implementing policies and procedures
  • Monitoring KPI's
  • Partnering with the Operations team
  • Dealing with client contracts
  • Providing support on key projects

What skills do we need?

  • Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/CIMA/ACCA
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience of Sage and Xero is preferable
  • Experience in managing a team
