MERJE are delighted to be partnered with a Leeds based financial Services organisation in their search for a talented Financial Controller.

We are looking for a strong leader that can enhance team performance and has an experienced eye for finance.

Your new role:

  • Oversight of the production of monthly and annual accounts;
  • Implementing improvements in processes and controls;
  • Enhancing financial analysis and internal reporting;
  • Ensuring reconciliation requirements across the teams are met, including balance sheet, bank and external stock reconciliations;
  • Monitoring and managing cash flow;
  • Liaising with auditors to ensure successful annual audits;

Our Ideal candidate:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA fully qualified
  • Proven leadership, delegation, and coaching skills.
  • Good awareness of HMRC and FCA rules.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain and promote the highest standards of financial integrity.
