We have an opportunity for a motivated team player to join our company as Financial Controller on a part time basis (0.6 FTE), working within our Finance department, based at Head Office.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Review and challenge financial performance across the Steeper Group, ensuring strong financial control and holding the senior management team to account.
- Oversee the timely and accurate completion of P&L budgeting and forecasting in line with Group timetables.
- Develop and own balance sheet and cash flow budgeting and forecasting.
- Identify and manage financial risks, supporting the Finance Director to maintain corporate compliance.
- Management of working capital for the Steeper Group.
- Maintain strong financial control, reviewing and approving payment runs and payroll, and ensuring compliance with Company policies and authority levels.
- Ownership of tax compliance, working with professional advisors to ensure accurate tax returns are submitted in a timely manner.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of corporate reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements to Eqwal and preparation of the annual statutory accounts.
- Preparation and analysis of financial data to support activities including renewal of the insurance portfolio and lease renewals.
- Any other tasks as requested by the Finance Director.

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with experience of working within a dynamic and fast paced finance environment. Experience working within the Manufacturing or Healthcare sectors would be preferable.
