We are seeking a dedicated Financial Controller to join our clients Accounting & Finance department, based on the East side of Leeds. This is a temporary role requiring a high level of financial acumen and the ability to lead financial operations.

Description
路 Preparation of the following
o Management accounts with commentaries
o Budgets
o Forecasts
o Accounting policies and procedures
o Statutory accounts
o Cashflow forecast and reporting
o Payroll accounting
路 Development and implementation of data quality checks to ensure consistency and accuracy of data and financial controls
路 Management and development of the UK finance team
路 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements for reporting and analysis
路 Collect and analyse data to develop insights and recommendations for business decisions
路 Create and maintain reports to track key information and identify trends
Profile
A successful UK Financial Controller should have:
- Full accountancy qualification - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Strong knowledge of financial laws and management
- Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities
- Experience with financial software and MS Office
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data
