Sharp Consultancy are exclusively representing a dynamic and expanding service business that has multiple group entities, offering a well establish team and un match development opportunities. This is a business that has achieved significant market share growth in recent years. They are looking to add a talented individual to their Management Accounting team.

The primary goal of this position is to manage the accounting for a portfolio of entities, ensuring efficient day-to-day management accounting processes. Additionally, you will provide essential commercial support to stakeholders, helping to enhance financial efficiency and drive strategic growth across the group. You will be responsible for:

  • Prepare management information, including cost analysis and support.
  • Oversee bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
  • Handle payroll tax payments, ensuring these balances reconcile with control accounts.
  • Prepare key monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals, prepayments, deferred/accrued income, and holiday pay accruals.
  • Calculate holiday pay accruals for each pay period.
  • Ensure controls and processes are followed and monitored, including the preparation of weekly KPI reports.
