Sewell Wallis are working with a valued client of ours who are based in North Leeds, to recruit an experienced and driven Management Accountant to join their team.

As the business is going through an exciting period of change this role will play a key part towards their long-term development plan and growth, so there is a clear progression path to become a Finance Manager/ Financial Controller in the future.

What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for the Group month end process.
  • Implement ways to improve monthly reporting.
  • Produce the monthly board pack and work with the FC on the commentary.
  • Work collaboratively with the FC to improve processes and ways of working for the wider team.
  • Assist with projects on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of key accounts.
  • Support the wider team when required.

What skills are we looking for?

  • QBE or working towards your CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
  • Comfortable communicating with people at all levels.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Keen problem solver with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong Excel skills.
