Management Accountant
Working in a busy and ever-changing lean manufacturing environment, with the opportunity to use your knowledge and skillset to support the financial controller.
Management Accountant Responsibilities:
- Production of monthly management accounts including journals, reconciliations, overhead analysis.
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Oversee inter-company invoicing and reconciling group balances.
- Responsible for maintaining the standard cost of Raw Materials, WIP and Finished Goods
- Reporting productions variances, implementing changes / improvements with the production team to resolve costing or process issues.
- Monitoring costs against budgets and investigating variances.
- Preparing weekly cash flow forecasting.
- Quarterly VAT Returns.
- Supporting site Financial Controller.
- Providing line management and guidance to the Finance Administrator
- Opportunity to support the implementation of the new ERP system in 2024, ensuring data integrity and ownership going forward
What we're looking for in the successful Management Accountant:
- CIMA or ACCA fully qualified or finalist.
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Maths or equivalent experience
- Management Accountant with experience of Manufacturing environments
- Cost & Project Accounting
- Able to work autonomously and part of integrated teams
- Somebody who has further career ambitions to develop into a Financial Controller in the future
