This newly created position will be reporting into the Financial Controller and supporting a wider team with key duties around producing management accounts alongside variance analysis & forecasting. This role is hybrid working and can support with ACCA / CIMA study support for anyone studying as well as salaried up to £42,000.

Description

Reporting into the Financial Controller and working with the wider team, as Management Accountant you will be supporting with preparation of the management accounts such as Variance Analysis, Prepayments, Accruals, Balance Sheet Reconciliations and PNL for example.

Alongside this will be the financial reporting on a weekly and monthly basis that will contribute towards the overall finance function including the likes of forecasting and board packs for example. This will lead to stakeholder management and business partnering with non finance stakeholders at the organisation.

Other ad hoc duties includes overseeing the ledger and accounts payable etc.

Profile

• Ideally either AAT or ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified
• Open to anyone ACA Qualified or Qualified by Experience
• Experience of producing management accounts such as balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, variance analysis etc
• Knowledge of forecasting or budgeting is advantageous but not essential
• Comfortable with Microsoft excel such as vlookups and pivot tables etc
• Confident to work individually and as part of a team
• Key eye for detail
