Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in East Leeds who are recruiting a Management Accountant to join their team. You will work closely with the Finance Director and Senior Finance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business with a significant growth trajectory.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare management information
- Payment of payroll taxes ensuring balances reconcile to control accounts
- Prepare key monthly balance sheet reconciliations including accruals,prepayments, accrued/deferred income and holiday pay accrual
- Prepare and assist in cost analysis
- Oversight of bank reconciliations
- Ensure controls and processes are followed including preparation of weekly KPI reports
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Calculate holiday pay accrual each pay period
You will need to demonstrate:
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA trainee (preferably part-qualified)
- Able to demonstrate strong progression in their career to date
- Demonstrate a strong technical competency in financial accounting and reporting
- Driven, hardworking and a team player
