Management Accountant

Job Title: Part-Qualified Management AccountantLocation: South LeedsSalary: £38,000 - £41,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + Study Support

The Role:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and ambitious Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join a dynamic and forward-thinking company based in South Leeds. You'll play a pivotal role in the finance team, working closely with the Financial Controller to deliver high-quality management accounts and insightful financial analysis to aid in decision-making. If you're motivated, proactive, and eager to progress your career while completing your professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA), this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and finalising monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Providing financial analysis to support strategic business decisions.
• Maintaining the accuracy of financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Managing accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
• Supporting the year-end financial process and liaising with auditors.
• Helping to drive process improvements and efficiencies across the finance function.
• Ad hoc financial reporting and project support as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA with demonstrable experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of management accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software
• Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with colleagues across all departments.
• Motivated and ambitious with a desire to drive their career forward.
