Description
As Management Accountant, you will be involved in:
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries.
- Assist in creating strategic business plans and forecasts.
- Manage capital expenditure and prepare financial justifications for future investments.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments on potential projects.
- Liaise with auditors and support internal audits.
- Monitor financial performance and report findings to management.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and financial procedures.
- Provide ongoing support and training to junior staff members.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven management accounts experience
- Proficient in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- High-level attention to detail and accuracy.
