SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Position:Full-time, permanent
Salary:£45,000- £50,000 per annum (depending on experience).
OTE/Commission:Estimated OTE of £65,000 per annum, commission is uncapped performance and is shared with a sales admin.
Work Model:Hybrid (2 days work from home)
Working Hours:9am to 5:30pm
Location:Leeds City Centre office.

About the Company:
Our client provides bespoke bookkeeping and financial management services to a diverse range of SMEs across the UK. They are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage a growing portfolio of clients and contribute to the business development efforts by engaging with prospective clients and discussing the provision of their services.
The Role:
Beyond your accounting expertise, you'll be actively involved in discussions with prospective clients, helping them understand the benefits of the company's services. You'll manage your own clients while delivering exceptional service and contributing to the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with prospective clients to understand their financial needs and discuss the services the company can provide.
- Lead client meetings, service reviews, and offer comprehensive support on financial matters.
- Drive business development efforts by engaging in sales calls and identifying new prospects.
- Act as a liaison between clients and operational staff, ensuring client expectations are met.
- Deliver insightful budget reports, review management accounts, and provide timely financial analysis.
- Proactively solve problems and develop innovative solutions for client challenges.
- 70% Accounting and Client Management, 30% engaging with potential clients.
What We're Looking For:
- A fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
- 5 years experience in accounting.
- Strong operational finance knowledge, including management accounting, budgeting, and cash flow reporting.
- Business development experience, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
- A proactive problem-solver who can deliver solutions and contribute to the company's growth.
