Castlefield Recruitment are partnering with a metropolitan and diverse institution within Leeds, who are going through a significant period of growth and investment. Due to this ongoing period, they are seeking to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner to the team on a permanent basis. This would be a perfect role for a seasoned business partner who wants an environment where they can help mould financial strategy in a setting where they will be valued for their expert opinion.

The role:

  • To lead and develop the business partnering function for the directorate, supporting all senior stakeholders and driving financial strategy
  • Take responsibility for the delivery of the quarterly forecasting cycle
  • Oversight of monitoring and advice on the financial performance of a complex portfolio of funding programmes
  • Develop good working relationships with key external stakeholders
  • Provide expertise to senior stakeholders on the current and future financial and economic environment and assist them in assessing options for achieving aims and objectives

The person:

  • You will be a CCAB qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) and have significant experience within a business partnering role
  • Demonstrable experience of operating within a complex organisation and a range of stakeholder management
  • Be able to demonstrate effective written and presentation skills, with an ability to produce concise and meaningful reports.
