I am delighted to be working in partnership with a growing organisation in East Leeds on their search for a newly created Senior Management Accountant role. This opportunity is ideal for a part qualified/finalist or a newly qualified accountant looking to take the next step in their career.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will provide key financial support while also mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple sites and cost centres.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis to drive improvements.
  • Provide insightful reporting to external stakeholders, including landlords and regulators.
  • Finance Business Partner Regional Directors and operational teams with financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and preparing board reports with key performance insights.
  • Mentor and develop Assistant Accountants through regular coaching and feedback.

This role will play a pivotal part in improving financial performance by preparing monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and weekly KPIs, as well as supporting budgeting and forecasting.

This role is suitable for a part qualified/finalist/newly qualified accountant or qualified by experience!
