If you have a strong scientific background and are a forward-thinker who enjoys staying ahead of industry trends to shape future product development, this Account Manager Pharmaceuticals role might be for you.  WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING… Developing new opportunities for existing product ranges within existing customer portfolios whilst providing commercial information and a day-to-day liaison point for customers.
  • Provide a commercial point of contact for the portfolio of active UK Pharma and Nutra customers.
  • Visit customers to cement relationships and develop new opportunities for existing products.
  • Liaise with the Technical Team on supporting customer technical and regulatory enquiries.
  • Investigate future trends to direct new formulation and presentation development.
  • Support Customer Service teams with customer liaison.
  • Attend industry exhibitions and training at suppliers.
 YOUR BACKGROUND… Must have:
  • Customer service experience.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • A strong scientific background.
  • Learning orientated mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Excel/Word).
  • Full UK Driving License.
Nice to have:
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology or related field.
  • Experience with Mintel.
  • General regulatory landscape and relevance understanding.
  • Experience in a similar account management role.
