We’re looking for an experienced Electrical CAD Technician with Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault & AutoCAD experience for a leading manufacturing client in West Yorkshire.

CAD Technician / Manufacturing / Autodesk Inventor / AutoCAD / Autodesk Vault

As CAD Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing & engineering high-quality 3D models of bespoke technical products using 3D Autodesk Inventor & 2D AutoCAD.
  • Producing GA drawings for customer approval & developing them into detailed manufacturing drawings.
  • Producing “As Built” drawings.

The CAD Technician will have:

  • A continuous improvement focus – offer design changes to increase production efficiencies & optimise material usage.
  • Strong problem solving – analytical & methodical approach.
  • Strong project management – supporting stakeholders & clients through design & build process.
  • Experience producing 3D drawings using Autodesk Inventor & 2D drawings using AutoCAD software.
  • Experience using Autodesk Vault software.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
