BDM Recruitment are seeking a part-time Mortgage Administrator to join a small, independent mortgage broker firm based on the outskirts of Leeds. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, gaining valuable experience in the mortgage industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mortgage Application Processing: Efficiently process mortgage applications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, lenders, solicitors, and estate agents to keep them updated on application progress.
- Document Management: Organize and maintain accurate records, including client files, correspondence, and financial documents.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing emails.
- Compliance Adherence: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a mortgage administration or similar role is preferred
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of mortgage processes and terminology
- Experience with mortgage software systems
