- Bookkeeping Mastery: Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records for clients, ensuring every transaction is properly recorded.
- Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and receivable to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns with precision and attention to detail.
- Client Liaison & Team Support: Be the friendly and reliable point of contact for clients, answering queries and providing clarity on all financial matters, whilst assist the wider accounting team with various tasks as required, contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Bookkeeping Experience: Prior experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role.
- Accounting Software Expertise: Proficiency in Xero or Sage (other software knowledge is a plus).
- Attention to Detail: You’re meticulous about accuracy and can manage multiple tasks without missing a beat.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You’re confident, personable, and enjoy engaging with clients—both in person and via phone/email.
