Description
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
- Process invoices, record payments, and track expenses
- Support the month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller and Accounting team on annual audit
- Manage financial documentation and data entry tasks
- Assist with other accounting projects as needed
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- An education background in Accounting or Finance
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software
- Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage financial records
- Good organisational skills for maintaining financial records and managing deadlines
