Empowering Learning is working with an SEND school in Leeds who are looking for 2 Caretakers/Site Supervisors to work at the school full time from November 2024. Thes roles are full time, 5 days per week and they are both long term temp to perm.

The 2 jobs will include working at different sites across North Leeds, so it is essential that you drive and have your own car. Mileage will be paid on top of your hourly rate for this.

Duties

  • carry out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs.
  • book outside contractors for major repair work.
  • make sure heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly.
  • check doors and windows are locked when the building is not in use.
  • open up buildings in the morning and lock them at the end of the day.

This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to supporting the educational needs of students. The teaching assistant will work closely with the lead teacher to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, is essential.
