Business Analyst - Leeds - up to £40,000pa DOE
About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join a leading software house in central Leeds. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business performance and continuous improvement. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements, ensuring solutions meet business needs and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Gather and document detailed business requirements, ensuring they are clear and actionable.
- Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and improve business performance.
- Create detailed process maps, workflows, and business case documents.
- Develop reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Assist in project management, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather insights and align teams.
- Provide recommendations and solutions to improve business operations and systems.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and process analysis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience with data analysis tools and software (Excel, SQL, etc.).
- Previous experience in a Business Analyst or similar role is desirable.
- A relevant degree or professional certification in Business Analysis is a plus.
