Our client is seeking a Principal Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage the monitoring and reporting processes for impactful deals, coordinate with policy and communications colleagues, and enhance the organisation's communications content. The successful candidate will work closely with the Portfolio Management team, ensuring that impacts are appropriately considered and included as projects progress.

What you'll do:

As a Principal Analyst, your primary responsibility will be managing the monitoring and reporting processes for our client's impactful deals. You will coordinate with policy and communications colleagues to help build compelling impact stories that enhance the organisation's communications content. Working closely with the Portfolio Management team, you will ensure that the impacts are appropriately considered and included as projects progress. Your role will also involve coordinating the pipeline of annual reviews, ensuring inputs are on-time and high quality. You will lead on collating appropriate data for communication lines and producing strong impact stories at a deal, sector, and portfolio level.

  • Manage the monitoring and reporting processes for impactful deals
  • Coordinate with policy and communications colleagues to build impact stories
  • Work closely with the Portfolio Management team to monitor financial performance of projects
  • Coordinate the pipeline of annual reviews from an Impact perspective
  • Lead on collating appropriate data for communication lines
  • Undertake ex-ante deal impact and ESRG analysis for annual reviews

Your proven ability to influence stakeholders including commercial partners, academia or government departments will be crucial in this role. Outstanding communication skills both in writing and in person are essential as you'll need to synthesise complex issues into easy-to-understand information. General analytical techniques knowledge including use of excel is required along with excellent inter-personal skills. A desire to form and maintain high-quality relationships to shape policy decisions is key.
