Description
- Oversee all quality control operations in the buying team whilst prioritising the critical path.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards for food and non-food products.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure consistent product quality.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure raw material quality.
- Occasionally communicate with customers to deal with any complaints.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QC department.
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and standards.
Profile
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment by taking quick decisions in-line with critical path.
- Proven experience in a QC role within the FMCG industry, preferably in a retail environment.
- Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using quality control software and communicating effectively with eider teams to execute best course of action.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
