NJR Recruitment is working with a highly respected financial services firm in Leeds that is looking for a Business Resilience Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping their operational resilience framework.
Role Overview
As a Business Resilience Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, evolving, and embedding a robust business resilience framework
- Overseeing third-party risk management, supplier due diligence, and resilience monitoring
- Leading resilience scenario testing and ensuring compliance with FCA Operational Resilience requirements
- Conducting root cause analysis on resilience-related breaches and recommending improvements
- Collaborating with senior management, Executive Board, Risk Oversight, and Committees
- Preparing board reports and risk updates, ensuring adherence to resilience metric
Key Requirements
- Experience: Strong background in risk management and business resilience, ideally in financial services
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with FCA Operational Resilience requirements and risk frameworks
- Leadership Skills: Ability to influence key stakeholders and drive resilience strategies
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with experience presenting to senior teams
