Aim of Role:

The overarching purpose of the role is to work closely with the National Hire Manager, ensuring a consistent level of customer service across the business. Mange all drivers in your region to ensure rigorous compliance levels (inc. CSCS cards, CPC/Licence etc). Manage a sustainable growth plan across your region in line with the wider business plan, through account management & development of new business.

Job Summary:

  • The role requires daily travel and frequent on-the-road presence across the North West, West, and North Yorkshire regions
  • Manage day to day operational requirements across your region, working closely with the National Hire Manager and hire teams.
  • Assist Divisional Director in the compiling of budgets and supporting plans that accurately reflect realistic opportunities.
  • Maintain growth and retention strategies agreed through the wider business.
  • Ensure the right caliber of sweeper drivers are recruited into the right roles and locations for the business.
  • Ensure contractual and SLA obligations are understood, and regional drivers are managed in line with all customer agreements.
  • Ensure regular visits to key sites across your division, developing relationships with area managers, site managers will be key to future growth.
  • Undertake a proactive customer management approach within the region.
  • Provide a positive communication strategy to all drivers in the region, including engagement meetings where possible.
  • Attend management meetings at Head Office with the SLT when required.
  • Support HR & Compliance with changes of policy/process being rolled out across the business, bring to life within your region with one-to-one meetings with drivers when required.
  • Maintain driver compliance levels across the business, this supports increased productivity & efficiencies.
