Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Chef to join our passionate culinary team. In this key leadership role, you will oversee all kitchen operations, inspire and mentor our chefs, and ensure that every dish reflects the high standards SUKHO Group is known for. If you excel at crafting innovative menus, managing a talented kitchen team, and delivering exceptional dining experiences, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants
- Create rotating seasonal menus that capture our authentic culinary vision, while appealing to a wide range of guests
- Oversee daily food preparation and ensure each dish is cooked to perfection, consistently maintaining quality and presentation
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective, profitable new dishes without compromising on ingredient quality
- Implement training programmes to enhance cooking techniques, ensure food safety, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness
- Manage inventory, control food costs & labour, and minimise waste through efficient ordering systems and kitchen operations
- Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, allergen and sanitation regulations, maintaining the highest levels of hygiene at all times
- Work closely with the restaurant management and head office to ensure the guest experience is paramount, adapting dishes based on feedback to maintain and elevate customer satisfaction
What were looking for:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, develop, and lead a diverse kitchen team
- An in-depth understanding of KPIs (including wage control & purchase control) & day-to-day restaurant operations
- Strong knowledge of culinary trends, food preparation techniques, and flavour profiles
- A passion for fresh, authentic cuisine with an eye for creativity and innovation
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and managing time efficiently
- Comprehensive understanding of food safety practices, allergens and health regulations
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred
