This Brigg Scientific client is a well established testing and certification company and they are looking for a Lab Technician to join their Physical testing Laboratory in Leeds.
This company do destructive testing of products, the environment is a Laboratory/workshop.
Key duties will include:
- Setting up Testing equipment
- Preparing samples for testing
- Recording results
- Ensuring samples are stored and disposed of correctly.
- Keeping test equipment in good order
- Ensuring workshop stock levels are maintained.
Ideal candidates will enjoy working with their hands and working in a workshop environment, setting up jigs with samples, running destructive testing and noting results.
No previous experience is required in this area, and applications are welcomed form people with Mechanical, Warehouse or Production environments. Applications are also welcome from Graduates of the Sciences or engineering.
The role starts on an Agency Temporary contract but will become Permanent for the right candidate.
This is an on-site role with a salary within the range of £22-25k.
