Area to be covered: North West, North East & Yorkshire
Remuneration: £40,000 Neg. + £8,000 Bonus + Company Performance Bonus 8%+

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Flooring & Subfloor Preparation will involve:
- Field sales role, selling a comprehensive range of high quality compounds, repair mortars, damp proof membranes and a new range of flooring adhesives
- 40% of your time stimulating demand with flooring contractors
- 40% back-selling through an established network of flooring distributors
- 20% new business development, targeted to achieve 12 new accounts per quarter (approx. £8,000)
- Fantastic opportunity to promote newly acquired range of manufactured adhesives (sole distribution rights)
- Revenue responsibility for £1.8m, currently performing well against budget
- Supported by our client’s brand manager and a national key account manager who manages all the quarterly reviews with the distributors at a head office level
- Adhering to the companies high process led CRM system and daily reporting of progress
- Conducting on average 4/5 appointments per day with 1 day per week spent in the office/ working from home on a weekly basis
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Flooring & Subfloor Preparation experience with:
·Proven track record of field sales within the Construction industry
·Demonstrable track record of stimulating demand with contractors and fulfilling through distribution
·Ideally sold related product experience such as; flooring, adhesives, tiling, compounds, damp proof membranes, repair mortars, screeds etc.
·Comfortable with reporting on a daily basis and using a CRM system
·Commercially aware, team player, fun
·New business hunter
·Strong relationship builder, loyal and stable background
