Position: Business Development Manager

Location: Bradford, Leeds, Sheffield

Position: Permanent

Working hours - Full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00, with flexibility for the right candidate.

Salary: £25,000 - OTE £32,000-£50,000

We are seeking a Business Development Manager on behalf of our Waste Management client, for positions available in Bradford, Leeds and Sheffield.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage new business opportunities through a combination of proactive approaches.
  • Drive personal sales and meet monthly targets, managing your sales pipeline independently.
  • Act as a main point of contact for clients, coordinating with internal teams to meet customer needs.
  • Utilise and maintain our CRM system and other sales tracking tools.
  • Support the Sales Manager and contribute to team sales initiatives.

Role Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, ideally within the waste management or service-based industries, with a strong record in hitting or exceeding targets.
  • Resilience and a positive attitude - comfortable with rejection and able to work in any weather conditions.
  • Confident with digital outreach, especially on social media platforms, to reach prospective clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for building rapport, along with a professional, proactive approach.
  • Ambition, self-motivation, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:
