Business Development Manager - North

Field Based

£35,000-£40,000 + Commission & Car (OTE £40,000-£60,000)

Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be partnered with a leading European manufacturer of cabling products for this brand new Northern BDM role. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting phase of growth for this business.

The ideal candidate will have some understanding of cabling products and have experience managing key relationships with Electrical Wholesalers and Distributors along with working with architects and contractors to get products specified.

Role & Responsibilities:

-As a Business Development Manager it will be your primary focus to identify new business opportunities and building client relationships with Wholesalers & Distributors in the North & Scotland.

- The long-term role will be to pro-actively seek new routes to market via wholesale, distribution, specification and developing end user relationships, growing brand awareness and market share in the Northern Region.

- My client have a number of brands in their portfolio and the long-term goal is to develop markets for each of their applications.

-Attend Electrical events to raise product awareness and network with current and prospective customers.

-Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with customers.

Skills & Experience:

- The ideal candidate will have some understanding of cabling products and have experience managing key relationships with Electrical Wholesalers and Distributors along with working with architects and contractors to get products specified.

- A hunter mentality with a strong new business focus.

- Forward-thinking and entrepreneurial with the ability to see the 'bigger picture' in terms of career development.

-Ability to commute and work remotely as needed

-Full UK Driving Licence

-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
