Business Manager – Couplings

Location: UK & Ireland

Salary: £Negotiable

Our client, a leading international manufacturer of mechanical and electrical drive systems, is looking for a Couplings Business Manager to manage their UK & Ireland business. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and driving growth in couplings order intake and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new customers and market opportunities.
  • Define and present the UK couplings strategy aligned with overall UK goals.
  • Analyse power generation sector applications and document industry requirements.
  • Collaborate with product management to ensure our product portfolio meets market demands.
  • Develop and maintain key CXO relationships.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to build industry connections.
  • Provide technical consulting and support.
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure successful closure.
  • Maintain professional knowledge and use CRM systems to track sales and projects.
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and sales forecasting.

Requirements:

  • HNC or higher in Mechanical Engineering (beneficial).
  • 5+ years’ experience in the couplings industry at a product management level.
  • Strong negotiation and social value-based selling skills.
  • Proven engagement with CXOs.
  • Driver’s license
