Our client is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to drive sales growth, develop customer relationships, and provide technical expertise in fastening solutions. This role requires a dynamic professional with a strong background in technical sales, business development, and engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and providing technical guidance to clients.
Description

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Rail, Marine, Aerospace, MRO, etc

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, engineers, and decision-makers.

Provide technical consultation and support on fastening solutions to customers.

Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for clients and partners.

Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, marketing, and production, to ensure customer needs are met.

Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to develop strategic sales initiatives.

Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and proposals to management.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers to maximise profitability.

Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote products and solutions.
Profile

Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in fastening systems or related industries would be advantageous

Strong understanding of Industrial Applications, Components, and Consumables

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Willingness to travel as required to meet customers and attend industry events.
