We are pleased to be working with a well established civil structural consultancy to recruit a senior civil engineer offering the opportunity to contribute in the design of a range of medium and large-scale projects and engage with a diverse portfolio of clients.
As a Senior Civil Design Engineer you will join a positive team that work well together, with a very healthy pipeline of infrastructure projects (drainage and highway), and opportunity to advance and progress your career. The role offers hybrid working 2 or 3 days a week from home.

About you and the role
- As a civil design engineer you will have 5 years or more experience in civils design with experience of leading projects and managing projects from inception to completion
- Good working knowledge of softwares such as Civil 3D, Microdrainage, Causeway Flow
- An understanding of drainage design, SUDS, highways, cut and fill analysis
- Mentoring more junior engineers
- An understanding of section 38, 278 (Highways Act) and section 104, 106 and 185 (Water industry Act) agreements
- Ideally chartered or near chartered (but not essential, experience is more important)
