Ability to manage the workload and take a leading role in the day to day operation of the engineering teams. Competence in both structural and geotechnical design. Able to provide supervision, training and mentoring to Graduate and Design Engineers.

Description

  • Experience and detailed knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations and Health and Safety requirements. Apply, maintain and encourage safe working practices.
  • Be competent and experienced in the use of current technical and professional standards required to carry out specific tasks within your role.
  • Work without supervision and directly supervises the work of others
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation and record keeping.
  • Undertake specific project work as necessary and be able to manage own workload and the work of others effectively.

Profile

  • Degree in civil and/or structural engineering or equivalent (BEng, MEng
  • Understand how commercial issues impact on your role, colleagues and the business.
  • Understand the legal and regulatory requirements of your role.
  • Respond positively and flexibly to ambiguous situations and the plans/initiatives of others.
  • Consider ways to reduce costs and improve service.

Job Offer

Salary: £42k - £55k (DOE)
