A successful Multidisciplinary Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Leeds is actively seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will assist in leading one of their busiest structural teams where you will have opportunity to produce detailed designs for various projects, such as industrial, commercial, retail, residential and the public sector.
It is essential for the Structural Engineer to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:
- To be a Chartered Engineer or a Member of either ICE, CIWE or CIHT
- Knowledge of technical software such as Tekla, Tedds, Fastrack Portal Fram, CADS Wall Panel, P Frame or
- The ability to manage project independently
- Ability to develop client relationships
Duties and responsibilities for this Senior Structural Engineer include:
- Responsible for co-ordinating delivery of drainage, structures, and highways elements of projects.
- Responsible for working within a team of technicians and engineers in the delivery of civil and structural engineering projects.
- Deal with site queries and meetings
- Involvement in internal and project design meetings.
