About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced Site Engineer (Structures) to join a major infrastructure project in Leeds. This is a long-term night shift role (6 months minimum), overseeing structural works, ensuring quality, and maintaining site safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision & Execution - Oversee structural works, ensuring adherence to plans.
- Setting Out & Surveying - Conduct leveling, setting out, and quality checks.
- Health & Safety Compliance - Ensure safe working practices and regulatory compliance.
- Quality Assurance - Supervise material testing, inspections, and work standards.
- Stakeholder Coordination - Work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers.
Requirements:
- Experience in structural engineering (bridges, highways, rail, or similar).
- Previous night shift experience preferred.
- Proficient in setting out, surveying, and QA processes.
- CSCS card required; SMSTS or TWC advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
