Reed Talent Solutions are currently working with a nationwide NHS organisation to recruit Commercial Lead on an initial 6 month contract. The post-holder will work as part of a dynamic team and play a key role in managing our supply base effectively and be instrumental in delivering successful commercial outcomes while making complex and challenging decisions across NHS England.

Role Information

This role is for someone with significant experience, strong strategic outlook and excellent leadership attributes who is looking to take the next step towards senior level accountability within a fast paced, highly professional Commercial Directorate. The right candidate will have the perfect opportunity to obtain first class experience with a wide breadth and diversity of requirements and disciplines.

  • Plan, design and deliver both complex and tactical commercial activity.
  • Undertake supplier facing activity and engagement as well as the commercial management of complex contracts.
  • Support investment cases from a commercial perspective to ensure they deliver value for money.
  • Understand and develop commercial contracts to support national l development opportunities.
  • Undertake Supplier financial cost analysis and supplier due diligence.
  • Provide Commercial legal support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with DHSC/NHSE to align contracts and suppliers
  • Develop appropriate strategies and processes for the management of the suppliers
  • Undertake due diligence and intelligence reporting on suppliers and contracts
  • Lead on Supplier assessments / supplier audits
