SME Commercial Account Executive

Salary: Up to £35,000 dependent on skills and experience

Office based near Leeds – Hybrid Working

Your role:

You will take the next step forward in your insurance career within a leading UK broking group, by making best use of your commercial insurance experience.

This role will suit a desk-based Account Executive seeking a place to progress or an Account Handler looking to step up.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage and nurture an existing portfolio of clients, each paying premiums of up to £5,000
  • Drive growth by engaging with leads, reactivating lapsed clients, and utilising data for business development
  • Meet and exceed a realistic annual new business income target
  • Collaborate with an experienced team and benefit from a structured training programme, including mentorship

We’re looking for:

  • Experience of commercial insurance, in a role that deals with clients - such as account handling, sales and development, broking, or underwriting
  • Cert CII qualified is advantageous but not essential
