The role of Sales Coordinator requires a sales and results orientated individual, who will be proactive and take responsibility for providing excellent levels of customer service for both internal and external customers. Carrying out duties such as quoting customers, converting quotes to orders, placing orders, generating new leads and customers to increase overall sales. The role is varied essentially liaising with internal team members, suppliers and customers to ensure sales targets are met whilst maintaining excellent service levels.
My client stock and distribute hoses, ducting & components and knowledge in this industry would be highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with new and existing Customers supporting request for pricing and technical queries.
- Provide responses to quotes in a timely manner
- Develop and build knowledge of Customers to improve service and sales
- Provide support to Customers whilst we service their request for parts
- Commercially competent when dealing with quotes and pricing for Customers
- Document management/control via the various systems used at site
- Issuing instructions and ensuring that all work is carried out correctly.
- To track sales performance and to prepare and present reports / data as required.
- To continually liaise with all customers and staff (departments), ensuring good communication is apparent at all times
- Develop a technical knowledge of industrial rubber components
- Comply with company health safety policies and procedures
Skills & Experience
- Industrial rubber hose/components experience
- Ability to use your initiative
- Able to make decisions and take responsibility
- IT literate (Microsoft Packages)
- Worked within ISO Standards (9001/45001)
- Excellent communication skills
