Metalis is seeking two skilled CNC Setter/Operators for an engineering company in Leeds.
The position offers a salary of up to £16.00 per hour and requires flexibility with day and night shifts.
Candidates should have experience in setting up, adjusting, and operating machine tools, as well as reading engineering drawings.
A qualification or apprenticeship in Engineering or CNC is required, along with the ability to measure and gauge components accurately.
This role is initially temporary for 12 weeks, with the potential for permanent employment and overtime opportunities.

CNC Setter/Operator

Location: Leeds
Salary: Up to 16.00p/h
Shifts: Days and Nights

Metalis are currently in partnership with an engineering company who are actively looking for two skilled CNC operators to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up, adjust, and operate all machine tools.
Calculate dimensions and tolerances using instruments including micrometres and verniers.
Measure, examine, and gauge completed components.
Read drawings and supporting information to determine best machining technique
Participate in new and existing project work.
Maintain records.

Job Requirements:

Able to read and work from engineering drawings where necessary.
Qualification / Apprentice trained within Engineering/CNC etc.
Flexible with shifts

Must be flexible with shifts
13-16p/h
Overtime available
12 weeks temporary to permanent role.
