This Building Physics Engineer role is with a regional building services design consultancy and will see you as the lead person in Leeds.
Straddling Building Physics and full Sustainability Consultancy, this Building Physics Engineer post gives you the opportunity to use your knowledge of:
- TM59
- Overheating and Part L calculations
- EPC
- IES modelling for non-domestic buildings
to report, advise and guide clients and colleagues when it comes to carbon reduction, sustainability and compliance.
You'll need to have been working as a Building Physicist for a few years and be comfortable working as lead member of the team, or looking for the opportunity to do so.
Qualifications wise you're likely to have a Masters or BSc in sustainable design plus your Low Carbon Consultant certification.
There is little they don't deal with in terms of projects while you'll be working with passionate engineers keen to produce buildings with excellent post-occupancy feedback and minimal embedded carbon.
