About the Role:Pertemps Work-Based Learning is seeking a motivated and experienced Apprenticeship Trainer/Skills Coach to join a well-established, nationally recognised Training Provider. This role has arisen due to the organisation’s ongoing growth and focuses on delivering Apprenticeship Standards in Management and Business Administration (up to Level 5), helping to shape and support the next generation of professionals in these fields.The successful candidate will work primarily from home, utilising a blend of face-to-face, remote, and workshop-based delivery. Regular travel to Sheffield, Leeds, and some occasional trips to Newcastle will be required to meet with apprentices and employers.Key Responsibilities:As an Apprenticeship Trainer/Skills Coach, you will manage a caseload of up to 40 apprentices, providing both in-person and remote support. Your role will include:
  • Delivering engaging and impactful teaching sessions both in classrooms and online
  • Guiding apprentices through all aspects of their programmes, preparing them for end-point assessments
  • Offering mentorship and conducting regular reviews with apprentices and their line managers
  • Ensuring compliance with all assessment and portfolio requirements, adhering to funding partner guidelines
  • Staying up to date with changes to apprenticeship standards, qualifications, and assessments
Requirements:
  • A recognised assessor qualification such as TAQA, CAVA, A1, etc.
  • Ideally, a teaching qualification such as PTLLS, AET, Cert Ed, or similar
  • Proven experience in delivering Management and Business Administration apprenticeships up to Level 5
  • Experience or knowledge of the business administration sector is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in using online platforms for training delivery
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car for travel to learners and employer sites
